Anyone wishing to sponsor the swim is asked to contact the Treasurer of IW Samaritans at the Isle of Wight Samaritan Centre 01983 524775.

Swimmers are asked to raise at least £500 – £1,000 in sponsorship. This can be done either through the IW Samaritans’ Swim the Solent JustGiving site at http://www.justgiving.com/samaritansisleofwight (opens in a new window) and/or with a paper sponsorship form which will be sent to you on request, or you can download it from the Apply page..

All money collected by using a paper sponsor form must be paid in by the end of August, in one payment, and all the GiftAid boxes need to be ticked and the addresses of the sponsors entered on the form. No Post codes, no Giftaid.

If the swim has to cancelled because of bad weather, all money raised so far goes to IW Samaritans.
